This is the moment that a man in a hooded top punctured an RAF veteran’s car tyres in a targeted night-time attack which the victim, aged in his 80s, caught on his home CCTV system.

The man could be seen walking directly onto the pensioner’s driveway, pulling what appeared to be an electric screwdriver out of a white plastic bag and drilling holes in four tyres on two vehicles.

Sergeant Penny Sprawson, from Swindon Community Policing Team, said: ‘The footage shows that this damage was caused maliciously and deliberately, and the owner of the cars – an RAF veteran in his 80s – has been left shaken and frustrated by the incident.
