Stacey Hampton has addressed her ‘eating disorder’ in a sponsored post for a portable smoothie blender.

In her latest Instagram post, the 26-year-old former Married At First Sight star branded the Smoothie Pro a ‘game changer’ and confessed to suffering an ‘eating disorder’.  

‘GAME CHANGER! I suffer an eating disorder and this new smoothie pro has allowed me to get my protein, nutrients and calories in while I’m on the go!’ she wrote.

She then provided her followers with a discount code for 20 per cent off, referring them to the blender’s website and including the hashtag ‘#spon’, short for ‘sponsored’.

‘How is suffering an eating disorder going to help with this? Genuine question. Also, do you get paid for this please? Is it sponsored or an affiliate code?’ asked one person.

Stacey responded: ‘Because I’m getting my calories in on the run?? Something which has impacted my eating. Always being busy and “forgetting” to eat.’

‘I don’t understand why I’m still being trolled or questioned about silly things,’ she added. 

‘Why would I post something personal if I didn’t genuinely believe in it or like it? This is more inbox type questions. Not so this person can look cool.’

She then urged her fans to send her private messages if they wanted to ask her such ‘personal’ questions.

In February, Stacey revealed her decade-long battle with an eating disorder, which she first developed while being bullied in high school.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia at the time, she said she weighed just 48 kilos and took medication daily to help her eat because she’s still medically classified as anorexic.   

She explained that she was initially bullied over her svelte frame as a teenager, and is currently just one kilo above her lowest ever weight of 47 kilos.

Stacey also denied bizarre and hurtful rumours that she underwent ‘rib removal surgery’ to look even thinner.  

She told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I am 48kg, why would I have a rib removed?

‘I had an eating disorder when I was younger and I’m still trying to put weight on now. I have to take medication to eat and to get my appetite back.’

She added: ‘I was bullied in school for my weight and even now as an adult. My weight still goes up and down.’

The mother-of-two developed her eating disorder after being bullied as a teenager, and has continued to struggle with the trauma into her adult life.
