‘But I would like to ask you just one thing. I would ask if you get a spare moment, go to a quiet place, a special place.

‘Say a prayer for young Zane and his gorgeous family. He is going through something that every parent prays their child would never go through.

‘He is tough as nails, he is brave, he is a fighter and he does it every day with a smile on his face. Never underestimate the power of prayer and how infectious a smile is.

His mother, Erminia, has been raising funds to support Zane’s ongoing care and treatment plus DIPG in research in Australia, via the Coffee For Zane website.

Coffee for Zane aims to raise $8,000 to send Zane overseas for treatment, as he’s unable to get the care he needs in Australia.

The Coffee for Zane website reads: ‘Whilst your $5 cappuccino is being frothed, please take time to spend that same amount on Zane. It’s only $5 and will make all the difference.’
