‘We have a venue!’ Samantha Jade reveals she has FINALLY started planning her wedding to Sony Music executive Pat Handlin
Samantha Jade has been taking her time planning her wedding with Pat Handlin, the son of Sony Music boss Denis Handlin.
But on Friday, the 33-year-old revealed that she has finally made some headway – although her shindig has been thwarted once again.
She told The Morning Show: ‘I actually started the process of planning. I had a few things actually planned then had to put it all on hold because of COVID’.

Samantha went on to reveal: ‘We only had one thing – we had a venue, but that is all I will say. It’s so much to plan, and I did start it.’
She added: ‘Now it’s going to be perfectly planned I guess because I’ve got a lot more time’.
The star announced her engagement to Pat in January last year.

Appearing The Project late last year, the singer admitted that at the time she was yet to begin the wedding planning process.
Samantha co-host Lisa Wilkinson: ‘I’m useless, I haven’t done one thing! It’s so bad.’
‘Most girls are like, they’ve got it all planned, the date is here… but yeah, I’m taking my time with it,’ Samantha continued.
She added: ‘Now it’s going to be perfectly planned I guess because I’ve got a lot more time’
The former X Factor winner went on to reveal that her latest single Bounce was inspired by her fiancé.
‘Oh yes, (I was) definitely (inspired by Pat),’ Samantha told the panel. ‘I think Bounce is a celebration of love and all of those different loves, you know, finding yourself.’
‘When you find the right person, you want to be a better person and love yourself harder and love life harder, so yeah,’ Samantha added.
