Stacey Solomon takes a rare break from Instagram amid ‘sad, awful, lonely days’… two weeks after the prolific social media user’s hiatus due to ‘personal reasons’

Stacey Solomon revealed she is taking a break from Instagram on Wednesday, after discussing ‘having an awful day and feeling alone’.

The prolific social media user, 30, is known for sharing details of her day in forensic detail with her 3.3million followers, particularly during lockdown with her three sons, Leighton, eight, Zachary, 12, and Rex, 11 months and boyfriend Joe Swash, 38.

Despite this, she took to the photosharing site to share an image of Rex and send well-wishes to her followers if they are struggling.

Over an incredible sweet snap of little Rex, Stacey wrote: ‘I’m going to be off of my stories today. For anyone who’s having an awful day or feeling alone…

‘I really hope this smile brings you a moment of happiness. Even on the saddest days, Pickle you give us so many moments when we forget what’s happening and only know the joy you bring us.’

Shortly before the announcement, she shared an image of her flowers and wrote: ‘Good morning. I’m stalking my own flowers this morning…

‘My Jasmine is one of my favourite plants in the garden and one of the only ones I’ve managed to keep alive for over a year. I hope you’re all ok this morning…

‘I keep thinking “Is it Wednesday?” Today is a new day. We’ve got this. And don’t forget… You are strong. You are smart. You are kind. You are more than enough.’

Earlier this month, Stacey informed fans that she was temporarily quitting social media ‘for personal reasons’ – leaving her followers worried about her.

But she appeared online a short seven hours later to upload a video of something she’d received in the post.

Mum-of-three Stacey – who keeps fans entertained regularly on Instagram – explained that she was taking a break from the photo-sharing site as she kicked off another week from isolation amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘Okay Monday… let’s do this,’ she posted, alongside a snap of her son Rex. ‘I’m going to come off social media today for personal reasons. I really hope you’re all ok’.

The lack of explanation worried fans – but she was swiftly back on the app to share a homemade rainbow she had received in the mail.

She captioned this: ‘Just received this through the door – I know I sound silly but I really do believe in little signs. I thought I’d put it on here hoping to brighten someone else’s day too.’

On the back of the rainbow was a note from Stacey’s neighbours, who wrote: ‘Here is a rainbow of hope. We hope it brightens your day.’
