David Beckham keeps entertained in lockdown by building a new Lego model of his bespoke perfume

His love for Lego is well known, as wife Victoria often documents his attempts to put the various sets together.

And David Beckham shared snaps of his latest project via Instagram on Wednesday as he teased the new model that he received for his birthday earlier this month.

The sportsman, 45, revealed he had been given a Lego set of an Instinct perfume from his bespoke brand which he put together with ease.

David shared a snap of the lego blocks before he put them together and teased fans by asking ‘what’s this gonna be?’

He then shared a snap while posing with the finished product, and his delight was evident as he smiled brightly for the picture.

The professional footballer then wrote on the front: ‘Pretty cool gift for my birthday.’ 

In December last year David’s wife Victoria poked fun at him as she gifted him a children’s Lego set for Christmas, which took him more than eight hours to build.

The designer took to Instagram to share a video of the Land Rover Defender that David was assembling, and joked he should be able to complete the build as it’s designed for children aged 11 and over.

However, she returned to the image-sharing app some eight hours later to show that the retired footballer was still putting the final pieces together in a video she playfully captioned: ‘How many hours has it been??’

Deciding to give her husband a real challenge, Victoria then shared a video of a Star Wars Lego set she had purchased for David and told fans it should take him ‘until next Christmas.’

In the first video, Victoria showed the yellow vehicle that David was in the midst of assembling, with the sporting star surrounded by tiny Lego pieces. 

Noting the appropriate age on the toy’s box Victoria jokingly said: ‘You should be alright, [it’s] 11 plus.’

She also previously joked David’s new hobby is ‘ruining my life’ as she revealed he stayed up till 3am constructing one model of Harry Potter’s Hogwarts castle.

The fashion designer filmed the focused sportsman attempting to complete the difficult challenge, with David admitting he still had a long way to go before he finished the task.    

Documenting the hunk reading instructions from a booklet, Posh Spice explained in a video: ‘So it’s 9:45, he was up till 3.30 on this castle.’   

The musician went on to question how long it’ll take the former Manchester United ace to fulfill the task: ‘How many bags left David?

David was so engaged in the 6,000 piece Lego set, which retails in stores at £349.99, that he continued well into the night.
