Michelle Bridges’ four-year-old son Axel came to his mother’s rescue during an interview with Kyle Sandilands on Monday, after the little boy thought the shock jock insulted her.
While the fitness entrepreneur was appearing on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Axel overhead Kyle and co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson speaking about her time on Channel Ten’s The Biggest Loser.
Little Axel thought his famous mother was on “MasterChef’ as she spoke of her nine years on the body transformation show.

‘Does he not know you were on the Biggest Loser?’ Jackie ‘O’ Henderson quizzed Michelle.
‘I beg your pardon?’ the well-mannered youngster said, appearing less-than-pleased the word ‘loser’ was used to describe his mother.

Michelle confirmed Axel didn’t know what ‘The Biggest Loser’ as Kyle realised that the youngster thought it was a sledge against his famous mother.
‘He thinks it’s an insult, when you call someone ‘The Biggest Loser,’ Kyle explained, before adding ‘did you hear him? He was like beg your pardon’.
Axel then got on on the line again, saying: ‘Excuse me, beg your pardon!’

‘Sorry, I’m not being rude to your mummy,’ Kyle replied graciously. ‘I’m just talking about an old television show’

Michelle tried to wrangle the interview back off her spotlight-stealing son, who was heard yelling in the background: ‘let go of me’ before saying, ‘whatever.’
The radio hosts burst into laughter and Jackie remarked that Axel could be the next Kyle Sandilands.
‘You know, you might not be too far from the truth with that one,’ Michelle said with a laugh.
‘Is he quite outspoken?’ Kyle asked. ‘He does not hold back,’ Michelle confirmed.
Axel is Michelle’s only child with her ex Steve ‘Commando’ Willis. The couple split last year.
She starred on The Biggest Loser from 2007 to 2015.

Earlier in the interview, Michelle addressed high-profile DUI charge last year.
‘Everything’s great. I’m happy,’ she said.
‘And I’m enjoying my life and I’m enjoying my son and it’s all good.’
