Christina Aguilera spiced up her weekend by indulging in a ‘recharging moonlight swim’ on Saturday evening.  

In a series of artistic snapshots shared to her Instagram, the 39-year-old singer showed off her alabaster skin and toned physique in a plunging black one piece swimsuit. 

‘Eyes wide open, I’m alive again. Senses sharpened, wash away my sin,’ wrote Aguilera, who was citing a particular string of lyrics from her 2018 hit Liberation.

Christina’s lengthy blonde hair was drenched in water and slicked back for the at-home editorial-style shoot.

The Beautiful singer posed for one shot with her hand delicately touching her face as she showed off her fresh, light pink manicure. 

As for her makeup, Aguilera opted for a glowy complexion complete with a golden cheekbone highlight and a modest amount of bronzer.

She was able to exaggerate her eyes’s natural feline shape by applying some false lashes and a tinge of brown eyeshadow to the outer edge of her lids.

Christina applied a neon pink lipstick to her pumped up pout, which provided the look with a pop of color. 

In one shot, Aguilera rested on the tiled steps of her swimming pool with her hands out at her sides and her legs crossed.

Another showed the singer with her eyes closed as she laid on her stomach with her knees on the pool’s steps and her derriere above water.

For the shoot’s big finale, Aguilera pulled her wet hair to one side, turned her back to the camera, and gazed at the massive moon beaming light over backyard.  

The final photo also revealed some minor details pertaining to the aesthetic of singer’s Beverly Hills mansion.

Such as the visibly illuminated arch windows and the steps that lead from the pool into Christina’s multi-million dollar home.

The impromptu backyard photoshoot comes just two days after fans of the singer banned together to make her single Not Myself Tonight #1 on iTunes in celebration of her album Bionic’s 10-year anniversary.
