Lucy admitted that while in the midst of 14-hour days filming she fell into a routine of nightly pizzas and takeaways, and only noticed she needed to change when she began struggling to climb the stairs.

The star added that since changing her lifestyle she feels happier and healthier than ever, adding: ‘It started to take its toll and I could feel it — I’d be out of breath even just climbing the stairs…

‘So I’ve used this change and this downtime to try to get on top of it. It’s a bit of a post-Corrie detox…

‘I’ve realised how much I was eating before and how awful that lifestyle actually was.’
