Laura Dern won’t revisit her Big Little Lies role for a while at least, as Hollywood remains shut down amid COVID-19.
But the Academy Award winner is enjoying the little things as she quarantines at home in Los Angeles.
She cut a boho chic look Friday as she stepped out for a walk with her friend Kate Capshaw during a break from isolation in her Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

The 53-year-old sported a nautical striped t-shirt with a pair of distressed mom jeans, ripped at the knee and a grey sweater wrapped around the waist.
She finished the look with a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses, a black face mask, a fruit-printed bandana around her neck and some white sneakers.
Laura recently reconnected with her Big Little Lies co-star Reese Witherspoon on her Instagram series Hello Sunshine.
She compared herself to her character: ‘I, like Renata, pretty much drink wine. That’s it, my whole life. I’ve never had cocktails, guys.’

She added: ‘I saw a worm in somebody’s tequila and I was like, “These people are crazy. I’m never going to drink tequila.” And that was it.’
Laura stars with Reese, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley and Zoë Kravitz in the HBO series, based on the book by Liane Moriarty.
She and Reese also brainstormed who should guest star in season three, including Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Sandra Bullock and Gwyneth Paltrow
The Legally Blonde star also suggested: ‘I mean, I’m always hoping for J.Lo to show up, just ’cause I really enjoy some J.Lo.’
