And Kyle Sandilands, 48, had listeners reaching for a bucket after he shared stomach-churning details about his dog getting her period in a recent episode of his radio show.
The KIIS FM shock jock made the revolting revelation during a previous interview with Liam Payne and Swedish DJ Alesso, who were no doubt left shocked by Kyle’s tale.

‘I didn’t realise that they get their period. Dogs get periods. Did you know that?’ Kyle asked the pair, before launching into a story about his pet dog’s messy menstruation.
‘Oh my god, the little splotches everywhere! My duvet was white, now it’s a whole different [story]. I had to throw that out. It’s finished, it’s like a big maxi shield,’ he lamented.
‘Bear in mind, anyone listening at home, if your dog’s not desexed, get them desexed. Because if the females get their period, and the males hump everything,’ he advised.

Liam and Alesso broke into nervous laughter after hearing Kyle’s bizarre story, before Alesso explained that he owned a doberman and would hate to experience a similar problem.

Kyle announced his split from Imogen on air in November last year.
‘We haven’t been with each other for quite a few months now. Unfortunately it’s run its course,’ he said.
The radio personality is now dating his former personal assistant Tegan Kynaston, 33.
