Kyle Sandilands hints Trial By Kyle has been AXED due to coronavirus

‘I don’t think it’s coming back’: Kyle Sandilands hints Trial By Kyle has been AXED and says the courtroom show is ‘another victim of the coronavirus’

Channel 10’s Trial By Kyle was a hit with viewers after it debuted during Pilot Week in 2018.

But it seems unlikely that the Judge Judy-style court show, fronted by Kyle Sandilands, will return due to the fallout from COVID-19.

On Wednesday, the 48-year-old said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show: ‘I don’t think that’s coming back.

Is it over? Kyle Sandilands said he believes Trial By Kyle is ‘cancelled’ on his radio show on Wednesday. He told audiences he thinks the Judge Judy-style court show ‘is another victim of the coronavirus’

‘I think that’s another victim of the coronavirus, thank God,’ he added.

Daily Mail Australia has approached Channel 10 for comment.

Kyle has not made it a secret that he was not a fan of his own, in fact, last year, he promoted Channel Nine’s Love Island Australia instead of Trial By Kyle on his radio show and Twitter.

He also told TV Tonight at the time that he was not interested in doing the show to begin with.

‘I didn’t want to do this show in the first place. It’s a pain in the a*** filming all day Saturday and Sunday and then working five days a week.

‘I never wanted to do it. It wasn’t my idea and my company doesn’t own it, so what the f*** am I doing it for? To make some other company s***loads of money?’

But he admitted that the Network offered ‘gigantic amounts of money’ to do the show.
