She’s been cooped up at home with her husband Jim Toth and her three children Ava, 20, Deacon, 16, and Tennessee, seven amid the coronavirus pandemic.

And Reese Witherspoon stepped out for some fresh air as she was pictured heading into her car with a gift box in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.

The Big Little Lies star, 44, proved safety comes first as she sported a protective face mask during California’s lockdown, while nailing casual chic with her typically stylish outfit.

The media personality exuded daytime glamour in a spotted, puffball-sleeve blouse, which she dressed down with straight-leg jeans and black sandals.

Carrying her essentials in a straw handbag, the TV and film star accessorised with dainty gold jewellery, featuring a selection of bangles and a bracelet.

The mother-of-three rounded things off with her statement fedora hat, tied in with a pair of black shades.

Earlier in the day, Reese revealed she asked her Big Little Lies co-star Laura Dern to re-enact a scene from Dynasty as her birthday present in March.

During an Instagram Live Q&A, the cheeky screen star told her fans: ‘It was the very beginning of quarantine and I only had one thing that I wanted!’ 

For the scene, the Legally Blonde icon requested she play the role of Krystle Carrington, while her close pal, 53, portrayed Alexis Carrington.

The original characters were iconically played by actresses Linda Evans and Joan Collins.

Soap opera Dynasty debuted in 1981 and remained on air until 1989 after nine successful seasons on ABC. 

According to Marriage Story star Laura, she and Reese spent a decent amount of time putting the entire performance together, while still maintaining their social distance.  

The award-winning thespian shared: ‘The most fun thing was we just started watching clips of the two of them like crazy to figure out what we could reenact in our quarantine social distanced world.’

As for their cast, Reese had the help of her son Deacon, while Laura got a hand from 15-year-old daughter Jaya and son Ellery, 18.
