During the interview, Cox confessed that she started binging Friends, in part, because she doesn’t remember much about being on the show.

‘I remember the people and specific things that happened, but my memory is not great when it comes to fun times. I remember pain I think,’ she said with a big smile on her face.

‘The Thanksgiving episodes are my favorite,’ Cox adding along with a disclaimer.

‘I’ve only seen the first season so far, but the Thanksgiving one where we all had the flashback [is my favorite].’

It turns out, after watching that particular episode, Cox remembered the time she played the overweight Monica and how it was one of her favorite things about the series.

‘I loved playing overweight Monica because I felt so free,’ she explained.

‘I could dance…like you [Ellen] and just sit up and dance and have no problem at all. Those are really good episodes.’

Season one consisted of 24 episodes, so she has a long way to go until she makes her way through all 236 episodes.

In the wake of the pandemic, the reunion special will benefit the All In Challenge.

‘We were supposed to do the show in the beginning of March or middle of March and now we don’t know when we’re doing it,’ she told Ellen.

‘We have already raised a lot of money so far, and you can still apply.’

The winning bid will get to invite five of their friends to come watch the reunion in person. When the special does in fact happen it will only be the third time that all six stars will have been in the same room in the last 15 years.
