Britney Spears quarantined with family in Louisiana for two weeks, says sister Jamie Lynn Spears: ‘Having our family has been the biggest blessing’

Jamie Lynn Spears is opening up about quarantining with her big sister Britney amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In an interview with ET via Zoom, the actress and singer, 29, revealed that Britney traveled from Los Angeles to Louisiana about a month ago to spend time with their family while in sequester.

‘Britney was like, I want to come home, I don’t want to be by myself out here [Los Angeles],’ because all of her family’s pretty much here [Louisiana],’ Jamie Lynn said.

‘So she was able to come home for almost two weeks or so.’

One of the added perks from the visit was that Britney got to celebrate two family birthdays during her stay with the family in Louisiana.

‘She was here for my birthday and for Ivey’s birthday. But then, of course, she has her own children and all of that stuff and her home, so she went back to Los Angeles just a couple weeks ago.’

Jamie Lynn, who starred in the teen sitcom Zoey 101 from 2005 to 2008, surmised that the Toxic singer went back to her home in Los Angeles because she thought the stay-at-home orders wouldn’t last too much longer.

‘We’re all just trying to abide by the rules and do what we’re supposed to do. Having our family has been the biggest blessing, too,’ Jamie Lynn explained of their lockdown.

‘I mean, we’re driving each other absolutely insane, about things you wouldn’t normally get mad about, but at the end of the day, at least we have each other, you know? That’s been really fortunate.’

Jamie Lynn will make her big return to television when she stars in the romance drama series Sweet Magnolias, which premieres on Netflix May 19.
