Margaret Josephs reveals her hopes for a ‘kinder’ Real Housewives of New Jersey after quarantine

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs has a full house of family members to contend with in the Garden State while she waits for quarantine restrictions to lift.

The 53-year-old joined DailyMailTV for an exclusive chat about her brand new podcast and her hopes for a ‘kinder’ version of her castmates when the pandemic ends.

Josephs also effectively said good riddance to the ‘virus on our show’ Danielle Staub, who won’t be back for next season.

Housewives in quarantine: DailyMailTV exclusively caught up with Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs after the launch of her new podcast Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget

Since the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast was forced to stop filming due to quarantine, star Margaret Josephs is keeping busy with her new podcast, Caviar Dreams, Tuna Fish Budget.

‘There’s a ton of podcasts about pop culture that cover reality, no one needs Marge in that space,’ Margaret revealed of her new project.

‘So basically this is about entrepreneurship, disrupters, leaders in different industries, who started with nothing, who made a name for themselves,’ Margaret explained.

The podcast dropped its first episode at the beginning of March and the reality star has plans to feature big names in all facets of industry from influencers to doctors – and she is doing it all from home.

‘I am doing pretty fabulous during quarantine considering the circumstances,’ Margaret admitted. Adding with a chuckle, ‘All we do is eat so I’m really like a little baby pork chop.’

Meanwhile, filming for season 11 of Housewives is on pause amid the pandemic and Margaret hopes this crisis will give the ladies a little perspective following what she referred to as a ‘dark’ last season.

‘With the girls I’m hoping, you know, we might be a little kinder to each other, maybe a little more patient,’ she said.

She added: ‘I mean if we were all quarantined together that would have been a show, that would have been amazing. ‘If we would have been livestreaming all the New Jersey Housewives together, how fabulous!’

‘She will not be back next season,’ Josephs said. ‘As far as I was concerned she was the virus on our show that we got rid of.’

Formerly the best of friends, Margaret and Danielle’s relationship soured over the course of many months with Josephs infamously pouring her drink on Danielle which lead to Danielle getting violent and viciously yanking Margaret’s hair during a shopping trip.

'In all seriousness, I only wish her good things. Obviously, you know, for it to go that direction ... we were suffering. She’ll move on with her life and reality TV, you know, is not for everybody at a certain point,' Margaret concluded.

Despite their tumult, and Josephs’ barbed comments, it seems she does wish her ex-friend well.
