She has been enjoying extra bonding time with her youngest son Tennessee, aged seven, while at home self-isolating.

The 44-year-old actress was seen attempting to read a story to Tennessee, who looked as disinterested as possible.

Not all smooth sailing: Reese Witherspoon suffered from a mom fail on Monday morning when she attempted to read her son, Tennessee, seven, a story book

‘Story time is going very well today….What’s your favorite children’s book?’ she captioned.

Reese was seen sitting on the edge of the reading nook while Tennessee posed upside down with his head in some pillows.
