Liam Gallagher admits ‘breaking up marriages’ and ‘upsetting’ people are his biggest regrets in life

Liam Gallagher has admitted one of his biggest regrets in life is ‘breaking up marriages’ as well as being a ‘f*****g idiot’ with his children.

The singer, 47, who was previously married to actress Patsy Kensit and fellow singer Nicole Appleton, spoke to Q magazine about things he wishes he did differently.

He said: ‘Probably personal stuff. Breaking up marriages, being a bit of a f*****g idiot with the kids. D*****g people about, upsetting them. But other than that… haha!’

Liam married Patsy in 1997 and began an affair with Lisa Moorish in Los Angeles two months later, resulting in the birth of his daughter Molly, 22, in 1998.

The following year, he and Patsy had son Lennon, 20, before they went their separate ways, divorcing in 2000.

The former Oasis star then married Nicole Appleton in 2008 after being together for almost eight years.

In 2011, the musician had an affair with journalist Liza Ghorbani, who gave birth to a daughter named Gemma in 2013.

Liam and Nicole separated and divorced in 2014 with the singer now in a relationship with his manager Debbie Gwyther.

Liam was also asked what his biggest fear is in life and said: ‘I don’t really have one. I guess, not being loved. Not being loved and not being able to love. That’s my biggest fear.’

Honest as ever, the hitmaker said that finding success with Oasis was his greatest achievement.

He said: ‘Being in a band, following my dreams, doing what I wanted to and not listening to every other c**t telling me to get a job. All those dream-killers.’

Liam added that while some people think he is ‘miserable’, he is actually a happy-go-lucky person and is upbeat 24/7, choosing to play on being miserable.

The singer is currently self-isolating with fiancée Debbie amid the coronavirus lockdown and joked his number one tip for getting through it is lots of alcohol.

Liam added that he’s currently bored out of his mind at home and recently made a tipi in garden as a consolation for Glastonbury being cancelled this year.

It comes just days after Liam fell out with his brother Noel for sharing an Oasis track online for fans.

Liam reacted furiously to his estranged brother’s decision to release a previously unheard Oasis song, Don’t Stop, at midnight on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old demo, which Noel, 52, found in an old box of CD’s, does not feature Liam’s singing at all, nor does it include guitarist Paul Arthurs, also known as Bonehead.

Liam tweeted hours after the release: ‘Oi tofu boy if your gonna release old demos make sure im singing on it and boneheads playing guitar on it if not it’s not worth a w*** as you were LG x.’

Nonetheless fans went wild for the release, lauding it for its positive tone, although many noticed that Liam had been left out as Noel sings and plays the music.

They suggested it was a ‘classic Noel song’ and should have found its way into one of Noel’s solo albums and not been hailed as a new Oasis song.

On Wednesday, Liam had tweeted: ‘Watch out there’s an asteroid about c’mon you know LG x’

Then on Thursday, he seemed to say what he thought of the track and wrote: ‘Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.’

Noel had said he had believed the song to be ‘lost forever’ and predicted that fans would argue over their personal reviews.
