Could Celebrity MasterChef be on the way? Gordon Ramsay sends expletive-ridden message of support to former Home and Away star Lincoln Younes to join the Australian series

Former Home and Away actor Lincoln Younes could be set to join a Celebrity MasterChef season after a very encouraging message from chef Gordon Ramsay.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the 28-year-old soap star shared a video of the UK personality sending him a personalised message.

‘Hey Lincoln, it’s Gordon – your favourite chef. First of all, those dinner parties, dude. You may be a great acto,  but you should be on f**king Masterchef!’

While there has been Celebrity MasterChef seasons abroad, Australia is yet to launch a series with celebrity contenders.

He then encouraged the actor to get his ‘sh*t together’ and join the show.

‘Get your sh*t together, get your apron on and start attacking your mystery box challenge. Mate. Good luck, god bless and I can’t wait to taste your creations.’

Lincoln thanked entertainment reporter Renee Bargh, who is also based in the US, who presumably helped organise the surprise.

While some celebrities are offering personal paid shout outs via apps like Cameo, Gordon appears to have been contacted directly by Renee to film the free message.

‘Guys… Ahhh I guess I’m officially a chef now. Thank you Renee for this culinary fanboy moment. I’m losing it. Back to the kitchen I go.’

Lincoln appears to be quite the home cook, with his Instagram dotted with creations made in his kitchen.

It comes after Lincoln started rumours he is headed back to Summer Bay, when he was seen in Palm Beach for a filming project in December.

Taking to Instagram, the handsome actor shared a grisly shot of himself on set while acting for a World War II themed film.

Handsome Lincoln could be seen sitting on a set of stairs, appearing to be bleeding. He wore an olive singlet along with fatigue-style pants.

The actor had been busy making a number for himself starring in the US show Grand Hotel, before it was cancelled.

Farewelling the series in October, he paid tribute to the axed program on Instagram.

‘Always sad to say goodbye… Just got the news our little #GrandHotel familia won’t be reuniting again,’ he penned.

‘Thank you to the incredible fans who checked in every night and invested in our alter-egos.’
