Phillip Schofield has given up on routines as he shows off unruly hair

Phillip Schofield has given up on his usual styling routines like the rest of us and showed off his new hair.

The This Morning host debuted his unruly mane, looking rather similar to Dr. Emmett ‘Doc’ Brown from Back To The Future.

Sharing a side-by-side picture to his Instagram, the 58-year-old captioned the post: ‘Lockdown hair options.’

One of the photos had Phillip slick his hair back with gel and all he’s missing is a tuxedo.

Of course, the snap had to be black and white to add to the suave effect.

Fans found the two styles hilarious, leaving jokes under his post.

One fan made the perfect comparison, stating: ‘Is that like Tom Hardy vs Boris Johnson.’

However, some weren’t too appreciative of the slicked back look, writing: ‘Deffo the second look!😂😂’

Or maybe this comparison is more accurate: ‘Richard Gere V Freddie Boswell 🤣 ❤️ u Phil.’

The talk show host has been isolating in his new flat, after being spotted moving out of his £2 million family home after coming out as gay.

However, Phillip and Holly Willoughby continue filming This Morning from the studio.

And ITV boss Kevin Lygo has plans in place if the coronavirus pandemic ever forces the show out of ITV studios.

Holly and Phil have been equipped with expensive cameras in their respective homes so they can continue filming the day time TV show as normal.

Lygo said: ‘When it looked that lockdown was coming, I quickly went into what are our priorities here, what are the main things ITV should be doing?

‘I prioritised quite early the news and the regional news, we have to keep them on air, they must continue broadcasting for a long as possible.’
