Reeves began the interview by commenting on the latest coronavirus statistics: “The numbers were truly dreadful.
“I am very pleased the government are now counting deaths in care homes, it means we have an accurate and truer picture.
“But nobody wants to be in this situation, not least the government,” she added.
“It’s difficult to compare death rates, different counties count deaths in different ways, but the numbers are very bad.
“Mistakes were made, we were too slow enter lockdown, too slow on testing and too slow on getting PPE out,” Reeves argued.
