Katya opened up about her split with Neil in an interview with the Daily Star earlier this year, explaining: “I think we were drifting apart romantically.
“We came to the realisation that we were better off as friends.”
Neil also addressed speculation about his relationship with his Strictly partner Alex Scott last year and insisted he “hasn’t thought about dating”.
He told Hello! Magazine: “There’s nothing on our minds but the show – we don’t have time to think about anything else.
“I’m single but I haven’t even thought about dating. Coming out of a long-term relationship I’m just focusing on Strictly.”
