AMAZON Prime’s Hanna is back for a second season and it sees a dastardly new villain begin the hunt for the deadly teen.
The action-packed show is an adaptation of the 2011 Saoirse Ronan film of the same name, and up until the teaser dropped on YouTube fans had no idea bosses were even working on another series.

At the end of season one, Hanna, played by Esmé Creed-Miles, discovered she was not the only young woman with unparalleled skill and elite training.
The sinister Utrax program has produced a whole army of lethal teenagers whose development is about to reach the deadly “second phase.”
The trailer opens with new villain John Carmichael, played by Hollywood hunk Dermot Mulroney, as the Utrax overseer hunting down a now bleach blonde Hanna.
At one point Hanna turns round and locks eyes with Carmichael, and her face becomes larger and larger on the screen as she stares him down.

Hanna follows the journey of an extraordinary young girl raised in the forest, as she evades the relentless pursuit of an off-book CIA agent and tries to unearth the truth behind who she is.
Along the way Hanna meets some interesting characters as she takes on her path of self-discovery and survival.
Star of the show Esme joined the series when she was just 19 and critics have heaped praise on the young actress.
Season two will consist of eight episodes and will see the return of Esmé as Hanna and Mireille Enos as CIA operative Marissa Wiegler.
Set to premiere on Prime Video on July 3, 2020, fans will have to wait and see what Hanna does next.
