Jill was married twice, first to Dundee hotelier Bill Keith, with whom she had two sons.
Their realtionship ended in the 1960s, and she went on to wed actor Alfred, 66, in 1986.
They met when they were working in the same theatre production.
Jill was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 1997 and went on to make a full recovery, but was later told she had Alzheimer’s.
