Catherine Zeta Jones, 50, has been giving her fans regular updates on Instagram of late as she isolates at home with her family.

The Chicago actress, who lives in New York with her husband Michael Douglas, 75, and their children Dylan, 19, and Carys, 16, suffered a bit of a mishap while in Lockdown yesterday.

The movie star was attempting to snap a selfie for her social media fans, but things didn’t quite go to plan.

Catherine’s first attempt at capturing a picture of herself showed the mum-of-two leaning towards the camera with a silly expression on her face.

In the image, the brunette beauty wore her tresses loose and enhanced her good looks with make-up in pink hues.

She sported a navy blue top covered with stars as well as a classic pair of denim jeans for the snap.

The award-winning actress captioned the image: “Yikes!”

A second image showed Catherine with a shocked expression on her face as she attempted to snap her selfie.

Alongside the image she wrote: “Ready or not!!!!”

The Mask of Zorro star finally hit the jackpot with her third snap which was captioned: “Timed Selfie.”

She could be seen striking a pose with her hand in her hair and a smile on her face in her stunning home.

A mirror in the background also captured her pert bottom in tight jeans in the photo.

A few hours later, Catherine posted a picture which gave her 3.4 million followers a behind the scenes look at her at home photoshoot.

The glamorous movie star, who normally sports impeccable hair and make-up, shared a “before” image which revealed her bad hair day..

Catherine wrote next to the picture: “But then this was the before [crying face emoji].”

In the image, the Hollywood starlet ran her fingers through her unruly hair.
