Where does Paul travel to in Japan?

Paul’s cultural journey in Japan begins in Tokyo, which is the world’s largest mega-city.

Japan also has the most Michelin starred restaurants than any other city in the world.

He shies away from the glamour of the city and instead gets immersed in the culture, eating in restaurants where you eat alone, in flavour enhancement booths, so nothing distracts you from the food.

Throughout the series viewers will see Paul, leave Tokyo and visit other cities, such as Hiroshima, where he samples the world’s most expensive strawberries.

From there, Paul finds himself in the snowy northern region of Japan, taking part in a rice festival.
