Tipping Point: Ben Shephard’s ‘tired’ appearance leaves ITV viewers concerned | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Steve got off to a flying start on today’s Tipping Point by adding £1,000 to his pot with just two counters.

But it wasn’t long before Kay caught him up and added the same amount of money to her own pot.

Andrea answered two out of three questions correctly but the Tipping Point machine refused to work in her favour.

Patrick’s eagerness backfired and after answered two questions incorrectly he finished the round with £50.

But the lucky quizzer gave some well-thought out guesses and made it through to the final round where she continued her lucky streak.

After running out of counters, Kay had earned almost £3,000 and pushed the jackpot counter onto the lower shelf.

Despite the counter’s position, Kay admitted her partner had warned her against gambling and she decided to abide by this rule.

Unfortunately, when she was forced to find out what could have happened, the jackpot counter and a double counter dropped meaning she could have won a huge sum of money.

Tipping Point viewers were shocked Kay didn’t take a gamble considering how close the winning counter was to the edge.

One frustrated viewer said: “What a shocking decision Kay #TippingPoint.”

“Can’t believe she hasn’t taken that trade…. criminal #tippingpoint,” another wrote.

“Oh, bad luck Kay. That was brutal #tippingpoint,” a third said while a fourth added: “Arr you’d be gutted #TippingPoint.”

“#tippingpoint If she’d gotten even one more question right, she’d have won,” someone else pointed out.

Tipping Point airs weekdays on ITV at 4pm.
