GEMMA Atkinson has taken a swipe at those refusing to stay indoors during lockdown after four of her loved ones have been affected by coronavirus.
The 35-year-old actress slammed the so-called “covidiots” as “selfish pr***s” in a lengthy post on Instagram.

Sharing the post with her 1.4 million followers, she said: “Press call them covidiots. I call them selfish p***ks!
“4 of my close family & a friend have suffered terribly with this virus!
“Bet your families are so proud of you.”
The mum-of-one also posted a photo of a large group posing together during an outdoor party at the weekend.

Gemma later revealed she had received a series of messages from key workers regarding her post on the deadly bug.
She added: “I’ve had a DM from a policeman saying they have never had as much abuse as they get from ‘covidiots’ and and nurse wishing these people not following rules could see how much a covid patient struggles in their last few hrs of life.
“Maybe then they would stay home… I’m so sorry for key /frontline workers.”
Gemma is currently isolating with professional dancer boyfriend Gorka Márquez, 29, and their daughter Mia.

Gemma welcomed Mia with Gorka – who she fell for when she took part in the 2017 series of Strictly Come Dancing – in July last year.
Last month, she opened up on her new approach to body image and fitness after becoming a mother.
She said: “My body doesn’t look like it did before… I was always straight up and down, like a surfboard, but now I’ve got a bit of a waist.
“When I put on high-waisted jeans, you can see I’ve got hips.”
