SEVENTIES TV show Van Der Valk has returned with a 2020 reboot – and fans are LOVING it.

Who is in the cast of ITV’s Van Der Valk?
Van Der Valk is returning to TV after 28 year break.
The show – which initially ran from 1972 to 1992 – is back with a brand new cast.
Here we take you through that star line-up.
Marc Warren as Van Der Valk
53-year-old Marc is no stranger to high profile TV.
His roles have included Albert Blithe in Band of Brothers, Danny Blue in Hustle, Dougie Raymond in The Vice, Dominic Foy in State of Play, Elton Pope in Doctor Who and Rick in Mad Dogs.
In 2019 he starred in Flack alongside Anna Paquin.
In the original series this role was played by Barry Foster.
Maimie McCoy as Lucienne Hassell
41-year-old Maimie is also known for her work on the box.
Her TV credits include Doctors, The Bill, Waking the Dead and Taggart.
Maimie’s elder brother Rory is a London restaurant owner, and her younger brother is actor Eugene McCoy.
Her uncle is the impressionist Kevin Connelly.
Luke Allen-Gale as Brad de Vries
Luke joined the world of acting in 2008.
He made his acting debut alongside Kenneth Branagh in TV series Wallander.
Since then the actor has had roles in Dominion, Ripper Street and Death In Paradise.
Elliot Barnes-Worrell as Job Cloovers
Elliot is new to the acting scene.
However, he has already appeared in two high profile films.
In 2018 he appeared in Ready Player One and then Dolittle in 2020.
Darrell D’Silva as Hendrik Davie
57-year-old Darrell is best known for his work with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
However, he is no stranger to TV.
His acting credits include Father Brown, Endeavour, Game of Thrones and BBC show Informer.
When is Van Der Valk on TV?
The re-booted show continues next Sunday (May 3, 2020).
