HOLLYOAKS star Lucy-Jo Hudson has shared an adorable snap of her “blended” family after ex Alan Halsall’s “no regrets” Instagram post.
The mum-of-two posted a smiley selfie with boyfriend Lewis Devine, baby son Carter and daughter Sienna, who she shares with Corrie star Alan.
She wrote: “This sums up our “blended” family of 4 💗💙💗💙. All you need is love…. 🥰 and laughter…. 🤣 (and a bit of sunshine ☀️ so we can get out for our daily exercise) #staysafe #stayhome #savetheNHS xxx.”
Her followers loved the happy pic, with one commenting: “What a lovely photo x.”
Another posted: “Aww this is lovely. Sienna has the loveliest smile.”
While a third wrote: “Beautiful family photto LucyJo and looking happy my dear 👌 😎 Xx 💕.”
Others posted how Sienna was the double of her dad.
The upload comes after Alan posted a cryptic “no regrets” caption on a sunset snap after Lucy-Jo said he “probably regretted” lashing out at her and her new man.
In a chat with OK!, she said Alan “must have regretted” an Instagram post hitting out at boyfriend Lewis after he quickly deleted it.
Alan appeared to take aim at Lucy-Jo and Lewis in February after the latter called the actor’s daughter Sienna ‘our’ on the social media site.
Seemingly referencing the post, Alan wrote and soon deleted: “You’re welcome to keep the lying cheating one & call her your own! But not my daughter.”
Lucy-Jo told the magazine: “I had literally just given birth to Carter when he posted that so I didn’t see it and my head was elsewhere. He quickly deleted it so he must have regretted it.
“I didn’t bother bringing it up with him. Lew and I were both too focused on Carter so it just didn’t get our attention.”
And Lucy-Jo admitted co-parenting with the actor can be difficult as they sometimes clash over parenting styles.
She continued: “The thing is, everybody who has a blended family knows it’s not easy. You can’t pretend that it is.
“And me and Alan sometimes have different views on raising Sienna so trying to co-parent can be challenging. It’s probably like that for a lot of blended families.”
Lewis previously gushed about six-year-old Sienna following the birth of their son Carter.
As part of a lengthy post after Lucy-Jo gave birth, he said: “Our Sienna is delighted and is already making the best big sister, just like I knew she would!”
Lucy and Alan have been co-parenting Sienna since their split in 2018.
They initially called time on their marriage in March 2016 before rekindling their romance just months later.
They met on the set of Corrie when Lucy-Jo joined as Katy Harris in 2002 and began dating in 2004.
Lucy-Jo left the soap in 2005 and went on to play prostitute Donna-Marie Quinn in Hollyoaks.
She met fellow actor Lewis on the set of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 2017, and the pair started dating the following year.
They announced her pregnancy in August with a sweet picture of her baby scan.
Lewis previously revealed how he felt becoming a step dad, telling OK! Magazine: “I was nervous but I just didn’t try to push anything with Sienna.
“I just wanted to be me and for our relationship to grow naturally. I think that’s why we do have such a great bond.”
At the time Lucy admitted how hard it can be sharing custody with Alan, who is now dating another former Corrie star, Tisha Merry.
She said: “It has its challenges and it can be difficult with everyone’s schedules but you make it work for the child involved.”
