Judge Judy’s longtime announcer Jerry Bishop ‘dead at 84’ from heart disease – The Sun

JUDGE Judy’s longtime announcer Jerry Bishop has died at the age of 84 after suffering from heart disease, his rep confirmed.

The beloved voice of the court series passed away on Tuesday in Los Angeles, according to the show’s publicist Gary Rosen.

The TV personality has served as the announcer for the hit show since it first premiered in 1996.

In a statement to USA Today, Judy Sheindlin, 77, shared a special tribute to her co-worker.

”Jerry Bishop has been the voice of our program for 24 years, she started.

“Everybody loved him. He had a golden heart and generous spirit. I adored him and will miss him,” the TV judge added.
