BRITAIN’S Got Talent is back on our screens tonight with a new round of home-grown hopefuls ready to wow the judges with their skills.
One daring contestant on this evening’s instalment of the ITV show hoping to impress them is Kevin Quantum, who combines science and magic to quite literally set the stage on fire.
Who is Kevin Quantum?
Kevin Quantum might be the bravest act to star in the latest series as he tries to win the judges’ approval with his rather dangerous audition.
The 39-year-old fan of science and magic is from Edinburgh.
He appears on stage with a large metal structure from which a series of cannon balls hang.
As they are set alight, Kevin places a black hood over his face, leaving his sight totally obscured.
The fiery cannon balls are released so they begin to swing like a pendulum in front of him – and he appears to be about to walk amongst them in a straight line while blindfolded.
The daring contestant’s performance on stage proves a jaw-dropping experience for judges and audience alike.
In a clip released ahead of tonight’s episode, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and David Walliams are seen grimacing as they watch Kevin poised to walk in the line of fire.
We can expect all four to be honest with their feedback to Kevin, given their animated responses to past contenders.
Will they put him through to the next round, or decide he is too hazardous to remain in the competition?
