Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute reveals she is dating ‘Mystery Man’ Alex Menache

Her on-and-off relationship with Brian Carter has been the focal point of the current season of Vanderpump Rules.

But series regular Kristen Doute, 36, has officially moved on from Carter and is currently in the throws of romance with a man by the name of Alex Menache, as confirmed by UsWeekly on Friday.

Doute – who once only referred to him as her ‘Mystery Man’ –  revealed that Menache is ‘a really nice guy that our whole friend group knows’ and that the pair are ‘having a really great time.’   

A photo shared to Doute’s close pal Katie Maloney’s Instagram back in 2018, revealed that Doute and Menache have been running in the same friend circle for quite sometime.

Also pictured was ex boyfriend Brian Carter as the group gathered for a photo during an evening out. 

‘He’s kind of back and forth between his house and mine — and that’s fine because we’re not socially interacting with anyone else,’ explained Doute during her appearance on Scheana Shay’s podcast on April 14. 

Last month, Doute spoke candidly about her former ‘Mystery Man’ during an Instagram Live with Andy Cohen. 

‘The boy that I’m dating is not in the country at the moment, so hopefully he makes it back,’ she confessed.

Upon Menache’s return, the pair were able to workout their current co-quarantine arrangement. 

In terms of bringing her relationship with Menache into the spotlight, the reality star admitted to Shay that she is attempting to find a ‘happy medium’  between her private and public life.   

‘I kind of got to a point of trying to find a happy medium where I can still just live my life.’

She continued: ‘I suddenly was catching myself pretending that I was home alone and doing all of these things where he was like, sitting right there, and it just started feeling not natural, and not me just living my life.’

Back in January, Doute confirmed to UsWeekly that her lengthy relationship with ex Brian Carter was officially over, but that her former flame would always ‘be one of [her] best friends in [her] mind.

‘I love him, I care about him, we have dogs together. But we tried to make it work and it’s not working, so it needs to be done, she explained.

Around the same time, Doute teased that she had begun ‘talking to someone’ and did not ‘have a boyfriend.’  

‘That’s the scary part of dating — at one point are you just having fun and sleeping together and then you’re going out on dates and then you’re sleeping together on the reg. And then you’re only kind of dating each other, but you don’t want to. So at one point do you just go, “Oh s**t.”‘
