Turia Pitt has shared the hilarious process of trying to snap the perfect family photo. 

The 32-year-old posted the results to Instagram on Saturday, showing her well-behaved brood. 

Pictured are her son, Hakavai, two, baby boy Rahiti, two months and long-term partner Michael Hoskin, looking serene on a beach.

Turia explained in her caption:  ‘Excellent, Michael, you’re looking at the camera. Nice.’ 

‘Hakavai, really working your angles! Your expression is probably a little too moody and intense for a casual beach shot, but full marks for the dedication you’ve brought here.’ 

‘Rahiti, I’m sorry, were we boring you?? Lift your game mate’ she joked, but appeared to get the perfect photo regardless of the complications.

It comes after Turia advised her fans to put down their phones as they face time in self isolation.  

Alongside a selfie, she wrote at length: ‘I don’t look at my phone. Because what happens when you look at that magic little rectangle, my friend?⠀  

‘Well, if you’re anything like me, you get sucked into a digital vortex of [mostly bad] news stories, emails and calendar notifications, Instagram stories, your Twitter feed.

Turia suffered horrific burns to 64 per cent of her body when she got caught in a wildfire in Western Australia in 2011, during an ultramarathon.

The pair got engaged in 2015, with Michael previously revealing he bought the diamond ring when Turia was in intensive care in 2011.
