PR queen Roxy Jacenko reveals the extraordinary ‘hospital grade’ cleans performed on her Sydney offices to protect her staff and clients during the coronavirus pandemic

Roxy Jacenko is taking no chances when it comes to protecting her staff and clients during the coronavirus pandemic.

The 39-year-old shared some extraordinary photos to her Instagram account on Friday, showing her offices in Paddington, Sydney, being professionally cleaned and sterilised.

The images looked like something out of a sci-fi movie, with the cleaners dressed head to toe in white plastic protective suits and gas masks while they sprayed the office.

‘Late evening sterilisation at RJC HQ this evening. We have remained open to ensure we can service our clients across all 6 companies housed in our Paddington HQ so have been doing fortnightly,’ she captioned the post.

The mother-of-two revealed the ‘hospital grade’ cleans were happening each fortnight, on top of the ‘regular cleans’.

A video Roxy shared showed every inch of the workspace being sterilised, including desks, chairs, walls and the couch in the reception area.

It comes after Roxy revealed earlier this month that her main company, Sweaty Betty PR, lost 85 per cent of its clients in three days as many businesses were forced to shut their doors as part of the lockdown designed to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Roxy said her three other media agencies are continuing to serve different areas of the communications sector while her main company, Sweaty Betty PR, struggles.

She told Daily Mail Australia last week that she is still working, but in shorter hours and from home and she has gone into ‘semi-retirement’.

‘[It] means I am able to spend more time with my children, which after working for so many years and missing so much is a wonderful change,’ she explained.

She added: ‘Whilst Sweaty Betty PR was hit hard by COVID-19 I diversified many years ago.’

‘I am in a good position with my other agencies operating as normal – 18Communications, Social Union, The Ministry of Talent not to mention my personal investments,’ she added.

One of Roxy’s companies is 18Communications, which facilitates communication between Australian businesses and Chinese consumers through popular messaging app WeChat and social media app Weibo.

She also has an online influencer agency (The Ministry of Talent) and a social media content creation agency (Social Union).

‘Now the focus is to make sure we continue to grow these companies whilst we look at options for Sweaty Betty PR in the short term,’ she said.
