Love Island’s Maura Higgins showcases her washboard abs in a tiny black crop top

She is no stranger to flaunting her flawless physique with her 2.8 million Instagram followers.  

And Maura Higgins looked sensational in a cropped black zip-up bralette on Friday as she joked about ‘pretending’ to exercise at home during lockdown.

The Irish Love Island beauty, 29, showcased her washboard abs in the item of clothing which she teamed with a pair of tiny Adidas shorts.  

Maura captioned the snap with: ‘Don’t mind me….just pretending to workout!’

The former grid girl completed her sporty-chic ensemble with small round Ray-Ban sunglasses and braided her brunette locks into french plaits.  

Maura’s Love Island pal Molly-Mae Hague was quick to gush over the snap and took to the comments section to leave a row of heart eyes, she added: ‘Cute top.’  

Last week, the Irish reality star was left furious when she was accused of Photoshopping a bikini snap.

The star had shared a sizzling picture of herself posing in her bathroom, looking svelte as she modelled a tiny leopard print bikini.

However, after the post was inundated with comments accusing her of faking it, the Irish beauty saw red.

Maura took to her Instagram Stories to lament how annoying it is to be constantly accused of editing her pictures, joking ‘I’m actually just fantastic [looking]’.  

She said: ‘So my recent post, yeah… I’ve deleted it. I just couldn’t be dealing with the s**t.

‘”Oh, it looks so Photoshopped!” Get over it. It’s not actually Photoshopped. It’s just got different lighting, I put a filter on it.

‘Just to prove you all wrong, I’m going to upload the video on my Stories, just to prove – I’m actually just fantastic.’

Following a brief break to cool off, Maura was back again – this time laughing at her hot-headed reaction.

She said: ‘I’m sorry! I cannot stop laughing. I feel like lockdown is sending us all crazy.

‘It’s just not like me to delete a photo just because I’m getting abuse. So I’ll put the photo back up.

‘It’s probably just the lockdown. We’re all losing our marbles. Send the hate my way. I can take it!’.
