Holly Willoughby poses with boxes of pal Phillip Schofield’s wine as she celebrates end of the week

Her co-star Phillip Schofield recently launched his own brand of wines.

And Holly Willoughby showed her support for his product as she posed with boxes of his wine to celebrate the end of another week of work and home schooling.

The This Morning host, 39, looked fresh-faced as she posed make-up free for the shot as she remarked: ‘I mean…it’s Friday.’

With the nation in coronavirus lockdown, Holly has been juggling her presenting duties and home schooling her three children Harry, 10, Belle, nine, and five-year-old Chester.

So it was no wonder she took pleasure in enjoying a tipple at the end of the week.

Captioning the image, she penned: ‘I mean… it’s Friday… work and home schooling done for the week… I can’t go for a drink with @schofe but I figure this is the next best thing! Thank you @schofe for the most delicious wine!’ 

It comes just days after Holly enjoyed some delicious-looking cocktails earlier in the week during a segment on This Morning with Alison Hammond.

The star happily downed drinks including a mojito and a margarita as she and Phil made their own tipples in the studio.

Meanwhile, Phillip recently decided to put his vino tasting skills to good use by launching his own range of wine boxes.

The 58-year-old presenter has teamed up with When in Rome to put his name on some of their most popular wines, sold exclusively at Waitrose.

Fans can pick up a Falanghina (white) and a Nero di Troia (red), ethically sourced from independent Italian vineyards, in stores or online from the end of the month.

Phillip said: ‘I wanted figures on how eco-friendly box wine was and I wanted it to be good value. The result is something I felt I could really invest in.’

‘I have really enjoyed the process of sourcing, selecting and now sharing these wines with everyone.

‘I don’t think there is anything I have been so passionate about, so I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do.’

When in Rome CEO and Co-Founder, Rob Malin, commented: ‘We are very excited about this launch.

‘We asked Phillip if he would be keen to choose his own Italian craft wine, which he was really excited by, so we took a number of samples from across Italy and let him choose his favourites.’ 

The unlimited supply of sweet nectar will no doubt come as a welcome relief for Philip, who has been anxious due to his best friend suffering from COVID-19. 

The presenter admitted his pal was still ‘coughing badly’ after fighting the deadly disease, and said he felt like he’d been ‘run over by a truck.’ 

Earlier this month, Phil and Holly spoke openly about fears for friends and loved ones, as they are unsure when symptoms are severe enough to seek hospital treatment. 

Holly said: ‘Friends that I know have said that when you become ill, the thing you don’t realise is that you suddenly have this fear that you’re going to deteriorate and that it’s going to get worse and you’re sort of waiting for that moment when you either sort of call an ambulance or you need to go into hospital.’

‘When is that moment? When do you know when you need hospital treatment?’ 

This Morning’s medical expert Dr Ron insisted viewers should simply listen to their own body, and if they reach a stage when they are unable to perform basic tasks, then they should seek medical advice.

Phillip then revealed that one of his best friends has been battling the deadly disease, and continues to feel unwell.

He said: ‘One of my best friends – he’s had it and had it quite bad and he is obviously compos mentis but coughing quite badly, feeling like he’d been run over by a truck. Bones aching, that sort of thing.’
