Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell gush over each other on one month wedding anniversary  

They tied the knot in a private ceremony at Australia Zoo exactly one month ago.

And to celebrate their anniversary, Chandler Powell, 23, shared an adorable new photo of him and wife Bindi Irwin, 21.

The pair exuded newly-wedded bliss as they gushed over each other in sweet messages.

In the image, the couple laughed as they sat on a bench while a lemur stood on the groom’s shoulders, placing his front paws squarely on Bindi’s head.

 ‘Today marks one month of marriage to my beautiful wife,’ Chandler captioned the post.  

Clearly content with her first month of marriage, Bindi gushed back: ‘I’m so happy to be living in our forever together’.

Bindi glowed as she appeared makeup-free in her khaki Australia Zoo uniform shirt and a pair of jeans.

Chandler wrapped his arm around his wife, sharing a big grin as he kept a watchful eye on the critter.

Another lemur joined them in the image, sitting quietly beside Chandler on the bench.

Bindi and Chandler raced down the aisle at Australia Zoo in Queensland on March 25, after the coronavirus pandemic sabotaged their plans for a big wedding.

 The lovebirds said ‘I do’ just hours before Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s restrictions on weddings were enforced at 11.59pm that day.

Now that Bindi is happily settled, it has been reported that she is playing matchmaker for her mother Terri, who has not dated since her husband Steve tragically passed away in 2006.

‘Bindi would love nothing more than to see Terri find a nice guy and settle down,’ an inside source reportedly told GLOBE magazine.

‘She’s been discreetly asking around and looking for decent candidates who can take her mum out to dinner and get her back into the dating whirl again.’
