CATHERINE Zeta-Jones has shared a flashback video of her time in Darling Buds of May, reminiscing of an “innocent, simple life”.
As the world continues to remain in lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic, Catherine posted a clip from an episode that saw the Larkin family enjoy a vacation in Brittany, France.

With Pop Larkin – played by David Jason – calling on the family to help set up their beach items, the children rush into the sea to frolic only to realise how cold the water is.
Catherine played Pop’s eldest daughter Mariette, and she captioned the video: “Oh those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer. ‘The Darling Buds of May’ an innocent, simple life.”
Darling Buds of May was a British comedy show that aired between 1991 and 1993 for 20 episodes.
Based on H.E Bates’ novel and sequels, it was set in 1950s Kent, and followed the Larkin family.

It was Catherine’s breakout role, and she went on to win an Oscar and BAFTA for her work in the musical Chicago.
The 50-year-old star has been happily married to Michael Douglas since 2000, and the pair have two children together, Carys, 16, and Dylan, 19.
On Thursday she celebrated the birthday of her stepmother-in-law Anne Douglas, who was turning 101.
Catherine wrote: “Happy Birthday to my extraordinary step mother in Law. Our Queen, our Oma. You personify everything that is good in a woman. I admire you and love you so very much. 101 years young today. Anne Douglas thank you for everything that you have done for people in our world.”

Anne was married to Michael’s father Kirk Douglas, who sadly passed away in February age 103.

Michael, 75, confirmed his passing in a statement shared on Instagram: “It is with tremendous sadness that my brothers and I announce that Kirk Douglas left us today at the age of 103.
“To the world, he was a legend, an actor from the golden age of movies who lived well into his golden years, a humanitarian whose commitment to justice and the causes he believed in set a standard for all of us to aspire to.
“But to me and my brothers Joel and Peter he was simply Dad, to Catherine, a wonderful father-in-law, to his grandchildren and great-grandchild their loving grandfather, and to his wife Anne, a wonderful husband.”
