Lauren Silverman looks cheery as she cycles with son Eric in Malibu

Lauren Silverman has been making sure she and her son Eric, six, have been getting plenty of fresh air and exercise amid COVID-19’s lockdown.

The brunette – who shares Eric with partner Simon Cowell and been isolating with him in Malibu – took Eric on a bike ride on Wednesday.

Lauren, 42, looked in good spirits on the outing as Eric followed closely behind on his own bicycle. 

She wore all-black for the outing, donning a T-shirt, leggings and shades. 

The mother-of-two wore her glossy raven locks loosely around her shoulders as she cycled along the sunny road.

Eric looked full of concentration as he rode along behind his mum.

He wore a matching turquoise shirts/Tee combo and added a neon green helmet to his head.

Although the family divide their time between London and Los Angeles, they were Stateside when the COVID-19 pandemic took hold, due to Simon filming America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

Whilst he recorded the talent show, Simon was forced to test for coronavirus when fellow judge Heidi Klum experienced symptoms on set. 

In a new interview, the music mogul updated fans on the 46-year-old model’s current wellbeing, after she confirmed she had tested negative for the virus, which has claimed 102, 876 lives globally.

Simon – who held back his results – also reassured fans that the competition show is still on track to return at the end of July, if the pandemic subsides.

‘She’s doing great’, he said of catwalk queen Heidi’s recovery. ‘We [Heidi, Simon, Alesha Dixon, Howie Mandel, Terry Crews and other crew members] all got tested, we had to.’

Like other coronaviruses, including those that cause the common cold and that triggered SARS, COVID-19 is a respiratory illness. 

The most common symptoms include a fever, a dry cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing and fatigue.
