Kate Beckinsale made sure to name and shame an online troll who vowed to ‘break her’ and encouraged others to continue to send the star hate on Instagram.
The actress, 46, urged others to be kind as she decided to publicly shame the troll to give them their ’15 minutes of fame’ while slamming their negative behaviour online.
As the troll boasted about ‘breaking’ Kate, she hit back: ‘I hope your mother is proud that your dearest wish during a pandemic is to drive someone to suicide.’

It was posted alongside a screenshot of the troll commenting on another accusing Kate of having Botox.
Their comment had read: ‘Keep up the good work guys. She’s going to break sooner or later. #katebeckinsale #troll #troller #botox.’

It came after Kate was seen biting back at an Instagram user who had told her to ‘lay off the botox’ as she’ll ‘regret it later in life’.
Kate replied: ‘I literally don’t get Botox. Please hop off my d**k you will so regret it later in life.’
The movie talent is rumoured to be dating musician Goody Grace, 22, and has been subjected to negative comments about their reported relationship.
Just days ago, she was seen clapping back at another fan that had mocked her romance with Goody, underneath a video Kate had shared of her trying to train her cat to sit in a box marked out on the floor.

Kate had told fans: ‘Very much did not go as planned. Please tell me if this worked for you and WHY MY CAT IS BROKEN.’
One troll, however, saw the post as an opportunity to mock Kate dating her new beau, who is 24 years her junior, and joked in what appears to be a now deleted comment: ‘Try and see if your new tom boy will adhere.’
Unimpressed, Kate – assuming the troll had meant ‘toyboy’ – hit back: ‘Try and see if you can spell and not just goon yourself straight out the gate.’
Kate and Goody sparked romance rumours after being spotted together as far back as January. They were pictured leaving a pre-Grammys party together, at the beginning of the year.
Goody has previously performed with Machine Gun Kelly and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker at a concert in LA back in December.
Machine Gun Kelly is close friends with Kate’s ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson, 26.
Goody and Machine Gun Kelly feature together on rapper Mod Sun’s single Stay Away, set for release later this month.
Kate and Pete were first romantically linked in January 2019 after they were seen flirting with each other at the Golden Globes.
They dated for several months before calling quits on their relationship in April that same year.
Back in February, Pete opened up on their break up and referred to ex Kate as one of the ‘funniest people’ he knows, while revealing his ‘uncles freaked out’ when they found out the pair were dating.
Speaking about Kate on Charlamagne Tha God’s YouTube series, Pete said his romance with Kate was ‘bad timing’ and joked: ‘I think I was going into another rehab. I must have a pattern.’
Pete had gone back to rehab in January following his split from model Kaia Gerber, 18.
