Her most successful single, Absolutely Everybody, became a global hit when it was released in late 1999.

And on Wednesday, Vanessa Amorosi stunned fans with her glamorous appearance more than two decades after her rise to fame.

She told entertainer reporter Brooke Boney via a Skype call from her home in LA that she would be releasing new music every Monday while in lockdown.

‘Being in lockdown, my mind and my thoughts are my own worst enemy, so Isolation is all about that and I hope that it connects with people,’ Vanessa said.

Vanessa’s style has changed significantly since the late ’90s, when she sported red hair and a fringe.

In an interview with News.com.au in 2019, Vanessa reflected on her decision to step away from the spotlight for a while.

‘I just don’t want to release crappy music. I hate going away, that’s never the intention – I really enjoy what I do. But I just don’t want to release crap,’ she said.
