He was famous for his comic touch in Parks And Recreation before reinventing himself as a charming superhero in Guardians Of The Galaxy.

Chris Pratt showed off some of those old comedic skills Sunday in video posted by his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, 30, to her Instagram Stories.

The 40-year-old actor set her in giggling fits as his background noise interrupted her video, before he made an appearance to compliment her baking skills.

Hamming it up: Chris Pratt, 40, left his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, 30, in stitches as he interrupted her Instagram baking video on Sunday

Chris stayed out of frame as he played a golf game in the house while Katherine detailed some tasty recipes she made.

First, she baked moist loaves of banana bread that were sweetened with chocolate chips.

After the loaves came out of the oven looking perfectly golden brown, she moved on to a more involved recipe for individual strawberry shortcakes.

‘I was going to try to find a recipe to bake something using the strawberries that I have in our refrigerator so they don’t go bad,’ she said.

But once the daughter of Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger started mixing the dough, the whacking sound from Chris’ golf game became deafening, which threw her off.

Chris kept asking her to turn her camera around to show him playing, but to no avail.

She later captioned the video: ‘I do not know how to turn the camera around on a tripod clearly.’

‘I’m here to attest that Katherine’s banana bread… is truly remarkable. I love it,’ he said, pausing while he savored the sweet treat.

‘I got a little giddy inside when she said both those loaves were for us. They’ll be gone in… less than a day.’
