He also added that he’s now enduring between eight to 10 workout sessions a week, and completing 10,000 steps (roughly 8km) per day.

Mikey said the government’s enforced lockdown has made it easier for him to get back into a routine after filming Married At First Sight.

‘To be honest with you my life has been all over the place since around September with the show, work, travel and publicity commitments,’ he admitted.

Mikey continued: ‘It’s been really hard to get structure and routine back in my life, so my training has been all over the place, but it’s something I enjoy so I find the time.’

The newly-single groom then encouraged his fans to also ‘knuckle down and take care of themselves’ amid the current pandemic.

He said: ‘A lot of people can’t work, go out, or travel, so use this time on yourself and be ready for when it’s all over.’

Fit: Mikey also admitted he is currently enduring between 8-10 workout sessions a week and completing 10, 000 steps a day in a bid to get his body back (Pictured in 2018)

‘Prepare yourself physically and mentally and be ready to pounce… the opportunities will come once we are back,’ he added.

The hunky reality star admitted he has also had to change up his workout routine, and encourages anyone to do the same to remain motivated.

‘I’ve had a lot of mini sessions, the same routine or exercises can get boring,’ he said, revealing that he’s lucky to have his own gym equipment at home.

‘Try different muscle groups daily,’ Mikey urged fans. ‘The beauty of YouTube is it has so many different and crazy home workouts, the key is to change it up.’
