Alyson Hannigan makes sure to protect herself with a face mask during walk with her daughter

Alyson Hannigan made sure to protect herself while taking a walk with 11-year-old daughter Satayana on Friday.

It was hard to recognize the How I Met Your Mother favorite, 46, with her hat and face mask.

Making sure to stay comfortable, she tossed on a pair of overalls with a grey tee shirt underneath. 

Alyson was prepared with a water bottle and tiny bag during the outing as well.

As they strolled around, her daughter walked several steps in front, also wearing a mask.

At just 11, she was nearly as tall as the Buffy star, who stands at 5foot5.

Not seen with the pair were dad Alexis Denisof and seven-year-old sister Keeva.

In addition to How I Met Your Mother and Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Alyson is well known for starring in the raunchy American Pie comedies.

But since being a mom, the star’s reconsidered how she feels about some of the films’ iconic lines.

While appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show with co-star Eugene Levy, she revealed that people still come up to her repeating her iconic line: ‘This one time at bandcamp…’ 

Alyson said her heart skips a beat, hoping the fans don’t utter the more lurid versions of the line. 

‘…I have two daughters now and when they’re with me and somebody starts saying the line, I’m like, “Can we just stop there?” I get really panicked.’ 

‘I’m like, “Yeah, yeah, I know what you’re talking about,”‘ Hannigan said. 

But she’s definitely not ready to talk about the birds and bees with her girls, saying: ‘I don’t want to have that conversation with them yet! Luckily, (fans) don’t finish the sentence, but I stand there terrified that they will.’
