New chapter: Bankrupt Katie Price is living in a £4,250 per month six-bedroom home in Surrey with four bathrooms and a built-in gym with son Harvey, MailOnline can exclusively reveal

Katie’s move to the six-bedroom house came four months after she was declared bankrupt following failure to repay her debts in November 2019.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Up until her move last month Katie has only lived at different hotels, so she’s relieved to finally have a new and semi-permanent home for her and Harvey.

‘They’re really enjoying being there and getting settled in – but she’s still in the process of trying to renovate her previous property, which she may decide to move back to at a later date.

‘At the moment building works have halted due to being in isolation and Katie’s longterm plan is still up in the air until the lockdown has lifted.’

Former glamour model Katie, who was once worth more than £40million, was made bankrupt last November after the High Court found she had failed to stick to a plan to repay her debts, estimated to be £800,000.

She was forced to give up her £2million 11-bedroom mansion a month later after signing the property over to a trustee.

The house in West Sussex, where Katie lived with her children, included a swimming pool, tennis court and horse stables.

Katie took out a second mortgage on the property in 2015, but faced monthly payments of £12,300, and is now thought to be £100,000 in arrears.

Following years of incomplete renovations the house was nicknamed the ‘mucky mansion’ with Katie even showcasing the extent of the mess on her reality series My Crazy Life.
