‘It’s like riding a bike’: Amy Schumer does the laundry in Instagram video to prove celebrities can do household chores too
Amy Schumer has rediscovered the joy of chores during the coronavirus lockdown in New York City.
On Monday, the comedienne and actress shared a video to her Instagram in which she walks her followers through her laundry detail at the home she shares with husband Chris Fischer and their 11-month-old son Gene.
‘It’s actually been cool to get back to doing, you know, the chores around the house a little,’ she says as she walks into the small laundry room.

‘Like riding a bike’: The comedienne and actress, 38, walked her followers through her laundry detail at the home she shares with husband Chris Fischer and their 11-month-old son Gene
She then shows off her laundry skills while talking on camera, getting the wet clothes out of the washing machine and putting them in the adjacent dryer.
‘It is like riding a bike, you know, in that you remember that you did it,’ Schumer deadpans.
‘You know, you’ve had a housekeeper for a while coz you made a bunch of money but yeah, it’s like riding a bike and it’s really easy.’

The couple tied the knot in Malibu in February 2018 and welcomed their son in May 2019.

Schumer just announced that Fischer, a chef and cookbook author, will star in a new show for the Food Network in which he tries to teach his famous wife to cook.
The series will be self-shot as the pair continue to stay home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Courtney White, president of Food Network, told Variety in a statement: ‘Amy and Chris will give an unprecedented look at their lives as they are quarantined in their house.’
