Amy Childs is ‘very excited’ about her new boyfriend

Amy Childs is reportedly ‘very excited’ about her new boyfriend, who she is isolating with in lockdown.

The former TOWIE star, 29, has rekindled her romance with businessman Tim after reportedly going on a couple of dates with him last year.

The mother-of-two’s new relationship comes after she was cruelly cheated on by her Celebs Go Dating love interest Jamie – while he was on free a trip to the Dominican Republic with her.

A source told New! magazine: ‘It’s early days but Amy is very excited about Tim.

‘We heard she went on a few dates with him last year but it wasn’t the right time and it fizzled out.

‘But they are back in touch and things are going really well.’

The insider added that dating ‘hasn’t been easy’ for the single mum, but she couldn’t be happier to have found Tim.

While Amy has remained tight-lipped about Tim on her own social media, he has been sharing snippets of their quarantine together on his own Instagram account.

The hunk appears to have moved into the Essex home she shares with her daughter Polly, three, and son Rich, 19 months. 

Amy had Polly with her ex Bradley Wright, while little Rich – who she has decided to keep out of the limelight – is her child with her former flame Ritchie.   

Tim posted a snap of himself in a hot tub, captioned: ‘Isolation isn’t that bad after all! Quality time with my girl’.

He also whipped up a barbecue for Amy and the kids, prompting the TOWIE original to brand him ‘my chef’.

Poor Amy has had a tough time in the dating world, and her experience on Celebs Go Dating turned sour. 

The TV star thought she had found The One in handsome date Jamie, and even introduced him to her daughter Polly, her mother Julie and her cousin Rachel.

However, she was left furious when Jamie went behind her back and kissed another girl while on holiday with her.  

Amy recently revealed her daughter Polly calls her grandfather ‘dad’ after her jailbird ex Bradley went back behind bars for arson and handling stolen goods last year.

The media personality, who previously insisted she won’t take her little girl to visit her biological parent in prison, admitted the youngster isn’t missing a father figure as Billy has filled the role.

Amy and Bradley first embarked on a romance in 2013, but split split over a year later when the builder was originally sentenced to 18-months behind bars for handling stolen goods. 

That conviction followed previous prison terms, including 16-months for theft in 2013 and a spell at a young offenders institute for burglary, handling stolen goods and driving offences in 2010. 

The couple reunited following his release, and subsequently welcomed daughter Polly, but split six weeks after her birth.

On her own father Billy stepping in to look after her daughter, the former beauty technician told The Sun: ‘Because Polly’s dad is not around and has never ever been around, she looks at my dad. She absolutely idolises him and calls him dad.
