Father and son: on Monday, Peter Andre shared his pride that son Junior had cleaned his en-suite bathroom ‘for the first time’ ever’

While his doctor wife Emily Andre, 30, has been fighting the COVID-19 virus on the NHS frontline, Peter has been running the home and looking after his four kids.

And the Mysterious Girl hitmaker was mightily impressed as he discovered his eldest child had spruced up his bathroom, commenting: ‘Junior has apparently cleaned his bathroom for the first time ever!’

Capturing the results on his phone, Peter panned the camera around the spick and span washroom, captioning the clip ‘go on son’.

Clearly chuffed with his son’s hard work, Peter added: ‘Yes Junior, that’s what I’m talking about.’

He then went to find the teen and discovered him dutifully sorting the recycling in the kitchen, with Peter writing that he was ‘proud’.

However, the praise soon ran dry as Peter then popped upstairs as he wondered whether his son’s bedroom was as gleaming as his bathroom.

And the pop star was left disappointed as a trip to Junior’s expansive bedroom showed clothes, towels and other items strewn all over the floor and furniture.

His boy, who he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, also left his bed unmade, while wires trailed on the floor and cushions were left askew on the sofa.

Peter said of the room: ‘OK yeah, this, we might have to work on this room.’

It comes after Peter noted his eldest son was ‘back to being a teenager’ as he watched Junior and Princess, 12, lark around after putting them to work to wash his fleet of luxury cars on Wednesday.

The singer took to Instagram to document the moment and also shared a sweet clip of his son Theo, three, watering the plants with a garden hose.

Peter decided to take a more practical method to home schooling as he gave his two eldest children and daughter Amelia, six, a power hose and car shampoo.

The television personality shared a video of him struggling to discipline Junior and Princess as they decided to splash each other rather than wash his white Range Rovers.

Amelia watched in amusement as her siblings quarrelled over the hose.

It comes after the family enjoyed a picnic together last Sunday after Junior came out of self-quarantine following COVID-19 symptoms.

In a heartwarming video shared to Peter’s Instagram page, Junior was seen entering the kitchen and greeting his family as his dad gave him a hug after their separation.

Pete said: ‘Here he is, look what the cat dragged in, out of iso, how are you feeling?’

Junior responded: ‘I just want to eat, sleep and repeat.’

Pete then hugged his son and said ‘Welcome back son, I missed you’, before planting a kiss on him as typical teen Junior responded ‘I didn’t. Get off man!’
