MAFS couple Jules Robinson and Cam Merchant could ‘televise birth of child’ in new reality series

‘Naturally the next step would be their own TV series!’ MAFS golden couple Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant could ‘televise birth of first child’ in new family reality series

They have already broadcast both their faux, and REAL, wedding on prime-time TV.

Now Married At First Sight’s golden couple Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant appear poised to share their journey into parenthood with national viewers too.

According to multiple sources in Woman’s Day and New Idea, the couple are planning their own reality TV series as a family of three.

The happy couple chose to announce they were expecting their first child together in a special Stellar magazine interview and cover shoot this month.

One of the more outlandish claims came from Jules and Cam’s former co-star Nasser Sultan, who suggested their pregnancy journey will be completely televised.

‘I guarantee there will be cameras at the birth,’ he boldly told New Idea on Monday.

However, It’s unlikely Nasser would know the particulars of Jules’ birthing plans, making his claims rather hard to believe.

In fact, Nasser doesn’t even follow the pair on social media and was not invited to attend their A Current Affair wedding last November.

An insider told Woman’s Day on Monday: ‘Nobody has come close to emulating what they have – their whole relationship is unprecedented! Their TV wedding was a hit, so naturally the next step would be their own TV series.’

‘It’s definitely going to happen. They’re both more than capable of pulling it off and they’ve made no secret out of the fact they love being on TV,’ they claimed.

Daily Mail Australia had contacted Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant’s joint media representative for comment.

Clearly eager to get back on Aussie TV screens, over the weekend Jules made a plea to Netflix to consider her and husband Cam as hosts of one of their new reality TV dating shows.

Love Is Blind was created by the original MAFS creators, and its first U.S. season was hosted by celebrity couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

Jules tagged Netflix and Australia’s free-to-air channels, suggesting she and Cam would be the perfect hosting candidates for a local version of the show.

Last year, it was reported that Jules and Cameron were also desperately trying to earn a spot on Nine’s renovation series, The Block.

‘They’ve been telling anyone who’ll listen that they’re eager to move into home renovations,’ a source claimed to NW magazine at the time.

They were reportedly hoping that Sara and Hayden Vale, who won The Block in 2018, would introduce them to the casting director. However, that plan apparently didn’t work out.
